How Can I Fix My Posture?

I've recently discovered I have fairly bad posture...computer posture - a slouch with neck stretched and head up. i try to remind myself to sit up now where ever I go but when walking by a mirror one day I noticed it in my walk as well - horrible! What's your advice?

Wetherby's are great and very, very helpful. You can get a pport from them and it is very cheap. You can get a pport to make her "legal" from them even if you don't have her breed info, but they will help you to try and trace her papers if they can. If she already has a pport, she will have a microchip.......get the vet to scan her to see if she has one. If she has, Wetherby's will already have all the information, if she hasn't, then she wont already have a pport.

Why are prisoners not allowed to commit suicide while in prison?

Don't get me wrong. I know that there is a HUGE difference between a situation in which a SUSPECT either commits suicide or attempts to do so while in jail and a convicted offender who does the same thing while incarcerated. After all, the suspect hasn't been brought to trial, yet, and his/her guilt or innocence still needs to be determined. In situations involving convicted criminals, though, I can't help but think that they should have the option of committing suicide. After all, if they kill themselves, doesn't that leave more room in the prisons for future convicts and doesn't that also save the taxpayers money, since that's at least one less person they will have to support?

Wot caused leaked brake fluid?

my car was motd end of sept 2010. however i decided to change front brake pads as they just ped. i compressed the piston on 1 calliper and fluid seeped from rubber seal. the brake lines are not leaking and when i removed calliper there was no sign of leakage as i had pumped braked only 5 mins before i am not losing fluid either. however i did not remove cap from master cylinder which is a sealed cap and there is no leakage there either. could not removing cap have caused compression and the seeping?????? this has got me stumped!!!!

World Wrestling Entertainment would see their production costs soar, since now the Satellite Dishes and all the other Equipment would now have to be taken to 8 cities every week, instead of just 2. WWE would have to raise ticket prices for all shows because of the additional operating expenses. However, since WWE does not have time slots for those shows, they would have to broadcast them on the internet and this would create additional operating expenses. WWE would also attempt to find and sell additonal commercials and advertising to offset those costs. This would fail, you saw what happen when USA Network pulled the plug on WWE Sunday Night Heat. WWE ran it on the internet for a while and then they ultimately gave up. It would be hard for WWE to get enough viewers to make all those shows profitable. Are you sure that she is not "going vegan" as an excuse to be anorexic? Is she losing tremendous amounts of weight? Does she get secretive about eating in front of people? Does she spend a lot of time in the bathroom? If she is anorexic, then a cookbook will not help. Otherwise, I would think about getting her a gift certificate to the nearest whole foods store so that she can buy food items, esp. already prepared ones or frozen tv dinners that are vegan. In baseball there is 9 innings in a game. Its ridiculous to have the game keep going on all night if there is a tie. Why do they have such a rule? Secure a connection?

We have cable internet and a netgear router. All we did was just hook up the cable to the router and the laptops were able to connect to it. I found out that it is an unsecured connection and that others can connect to it. Is there a way that i can keep others from being able to connect but still allow our notebooks to connect. Would i need to rehookup the router and install software or use the windows network setup or go into the properties for the connection. I don't understand what everything is but if anyone can just tell me what i need to do to keep people from connecting i would very much appreciate it. Thank you.

Plasma TV and video games.?

I recently got a Day After Thanksgiving door-buster deal, a 42 inch 1080 i plasma TV. I know that sometimes really bright colors or still images can temporarily be burned into the plasma, and this happens WHENEVER I put in a videogame. I put in The Force Unleashed, loaded my game as soon as the option appeared, and when I turned the TV off, I kept staring at "STAR WARS" at the top of the screen. It went away in a few minutes. I only paid $500 for the TV, so i'm not surprised. But, I know plasma TVs usually have a "Videogame" video setting, however this one does not. Should I just take it back? Or can i tweak the settings to keep this from happening? help please.

Hiring a car in Orange County? Do I need to?

Renting a car would be a good idea so you can get around while you are here. Irvine and Newport are right next to each other, but the public transportation system here is not good, as you say. You could also consider taking a cab, but that is not cheap either. I would really recommend spending the extra money to get a car. If you are flying into John Wayne Airport then I would recommend renting from "Thrifty" because they are really cheap and have nice cars. You will also need a car to check out everything else while you are here because everything is really spread out.

at first the alarm was not activated, but then I made the mistake of locking the car using the power lock from inside which apparently activated the alarm. All I could do was close the door, lock the car and wait for the alarm to be quiet. Question about Glutathione and Autism?

My 2 1/2 year old autistic daughter was diagnosed 1 year ago. I started her on the GFCF diet within 1 month of her diagnoses with promising results. She was responsive and not in her own little world. I then added a multivitamin, cod liver oil and a probiotic. She was doing great after that. She had less stimming, very playful and extremely happy. She had great eye contact and was responding to her name about 90% of the time. I was getting happy. Then about 2 weeks ago I started to give her fish oil and Oral Reduced Glutathione (to improve language). I am giving her 1/2 of a capsule mixed into her milk. Each capsule contains 500mg, so she is getting 250mg daily. Since I started her on it I have noticed a regression. She is in her own little world more often, she is less playful, she is very crabby (she cries a lot), She wants to be alone more often, and now I notice she has eye squinting. She has never did that before. I was wondering if anyone experienced any of that before? Could the regression mean that the Glutathione is working or should I discontinue use? I am confused and I have not found anything information the the internet. Thanks for your help!!!

Serious question about abortion and pregnancy health issue. help!?

Ok this is not about me. Im just concerned about my brothers girlfriend. My brother and his girlfriend used condoms but according to them one slipped off. She found out she was pregnant and he told her they arent ready right now but he's positive they would be more than ready by the time the babys born. She decided she wanted an abortion and went to the clinic on thursday. She ame home in tears and said they would not allow her to have one because after her bloodwork, her blood wouldnt clot. Great White Shark VS Hippopotamus?

The great white is an ambush predator, and it seems to be a picky eater. I am guessing it would not ume the hippo was prey since it is more known for eating seals (and most attacks on humans seem to come from being confused). When sharks have attacked humans, a food type they aren't use to, the human is "spit out." If the shark, for what ever reason were to attack the hippo, I am guessing it would be from the bottom where it could avoid most damage. What kind of over-rev engine damage possible?

I have a 2002 Toyota Celica GT (not GTS) with 99k miles. There has always been a slight ticking sound under the hood since I got it (it had 70k miles), the ticking gets faster with RPM, and is much louder when the engine is in cold start, but quiets down when warmed up, but still audible. Recently I got into a race on the highway and accidentally slammed it into second gear rather than 4th, and the tachometer flew far over the 8000RPM max, Id have to say I hit about 10500 RPM... now that same ticking sound is much louder, coming from same side of engine, and there is a vibrating metal sound coming from the same area. The engine still performs and accelerates the same, but the sound worries me. My oil level is almost to the minimum level (since I havent gotten to change it yet) but just wondering what exactly the sound could be? everybody is saying it is probably a valve lifter? Toyota shops charge $167 diagnosis fee...and I dont have that much money for them to just look at the car and not do anything... Thank you for the help!

Thinning Shears for Fine Hair?

I'm just wondering...has anyone out there had their hairstylist use thinning shears on their fine-textured hair. I had a haircut yesterday and while I have a lot of hair, my texture is fine. Why is my cat acting like this?

My 8 month old cat (female) acted the same way when I brought a 3 month old kitten (female) into my apartment. Give her a few days to adjust, maybe even a couple of weeks. Most cats will tolerate each other after a while. They are even more territorial than dogs, and bobcat is freaking because there's a new cat in her territory. Once they get used to each other they will use the same litter box and food dish, though probably not at the same time for quite a while.

I bought a used car about a year ago, I went to AAA to register it and the previous owner already smogged and registered it for 2009. I was under the impression the car was in my name since the woman took my money and I received mail about it from the DMV, but after getting pulled over for having past due registration and I received the ticket, I see the registered owner on the vehicle is still the man who sold me the car. when you make it, divide it into equal servings using 1/4 c measuring cup. I did it with a crock-pot oatmeal recipe that didn't list the quantity but said 6 servings. turned out to be 1/2 c per serving. also, calories are never exactly what the book says. it varies with product brand, fruit sugar content (which vares from fruit to fruit, each apple has a different caloric value even if they're the same type and weight). don't get too hung up on that .7 calorie... one serving may have 190 cal, the next may have 200 cal, it just depends. it's a guessing game, not matter how precise you think you're being.

I hate social workers. They like to take kids from defenceless young mothers especially if they are single. Have as little to do with them as possible. They will lie and they are not your friends no matter how they come across. They make lots of money from stealing kids so be aware. If they are heavily on your sister-in-laws case she may be better off moving. In the mean time make sure she keeps her kids clean and tidy and her home clean without any dangerous items in the way. Make sure she keeps her kids supervised when outside playing as they may be spying in order to make a case. Don't smoke in the same rooms that the kids use. Don't give them any ammunition. If she has friends that visit her make sure they look and behave normal and don't swear in front of the social workers. All my life I have felt like there was something missing. I whiled 22 years of my life thinking its this and that and finally decided nothing in this entire world is going to fulfill me. Since then I started seeking the Truth about my creation and existence. I realized this is what spirituality was all about. Now I have gone too deep into spirituality that I have experienced several great Truths. I am no longer interested in the life I led before. All I want is get closer and closer to God. I spent around 8 months basking in my findings. Now the time to write my MBA exam is gone. I don't have a regular income with my job. Financially I have become a mess although spiritually I am doing great. If it were not for my spiritual findings, such indescribable sweet findings within me, I'd have never forgiven myself for screwing up financially like this. Now I am 24 and I am contemplating doing MBA while being least interested in anything worldly. I am being asked to marry when I know no real union happens by marriage. Real union happens only spiritually-union with the existence. All I'd like to do is pursue spirituality in some quiet monastery/ashram but which one can be trusted? In the name of spirituality there are so many fake ashrams run by people with other interests.I could never trust them. Now I am 24 and stuck but I dont regret anything. How old is he? If he's young, then sports are definitely the way to go - even 'normal' boys who are in grade school sometimes have trouble dealing with all the effort, concentration, and coordination (and some people just never learn the last part) that goes into playing an instrument. Since it's only 'for now', I'd say sports, he can always learn an instrument later, and there's nothing to prevent him from eventually doing both. In fact, in 7th-8th grade, most schools require kids to take some sort of music cles, and they're either required or strongly encouraged later in grade school, so he'll learn an instrument eventually.

My fiance has a 3 year old daughter with his ex. Since his daughter was born while he was a minor, he couldn't pursue rights to her until he turned 18. Right after his 18th birthday he filed for shared parenting and a paternity test, everything. He's desperately wanted to see his little one and to be a father all her life, but his ex has denied him all contact. He drops off gifts at her birthday and Christmas. He writes letters, calls, emails, and tries everything he can to work things out with his ex so that she will let him see his daughter. She just won't even if he stops by the house! So she is pregnant again. We didn't know this for sure when he filed, but now we do. The court date is in 2 weeks and people are telling me that she is really stressed out about him getting rights to his daughter and that she's been in "false labor" several times because she's so afraid of "that sperm donor and his skank gf" getting rights. I don't understand why because my fiance has never been violent or done anything to deserve her hate. I might deserve her hate because we were friends briefly before I got with my fiance 3 years ago. However, it was clear at that point that she didn't want him. Believe me he waited for her! Is it horrible of us to put her through this while she's pregnant? I saw an answer on a question where a black female said statistically there are more whites on welfare than blacks. That is true but she didn't take into consideration that whites do have a large majority. According to the US Census as I remember, blacks made 13% of the US population while whites made up about 61%. So there is a large percent of whites in America therefor if even 10% of them receive Welfare, that means that the number will be high while if 10% of blacks receive welfare the number will be low when compared to whites. Another thing that the person didn't take into consideration when she answered was the employment status of the rest who are not on Welfare and how much they contribute to social services through taxes, obviously whites would contribute more while blacks wouldn't because of the population difference. Audition song for a 13 year old!!?

my little sister's auditioning for a production of A Christmas Carol. In the youth ensemble, about 140 people audition and there are 14 roles. 13 is the oldest age a person can audition at so it's her last year. She's planning on doing a shakespeare monologue, but she cant think of a song. She's got a soprano voice, and can't sing a note any lower than the A below middle C.
