Veteran Doctors: What should I specialize in to become a Primary Care Physician?

I want to work in the primary care setting for a healthcare provider like Kaiser Permanente. I was just wondering which specialty would you guys recommend for someone interested in primary care. Internal Medicine or Family Practice? These two are my favorite, but I don't know which one to lean towards to prepare me for primary care. Explanations for your recommendations would be appreciated.
