Serious question about abortion and pregnancy health issue. help!?

Ok this is not about me. Im just concerned about my brothers girlfriend. My brother and his girlfriend used condoms but according to them one slipped off. She found out she was pregnant and he told her they arent ready right now but he's positive they would be more than ready by the time the babys born. She decided she wanted an abortion and went to the clinic on thursday. She ame home in tears and said they would not allow her to have one because after her bloodwork, her blood wouldnt clot. Is that possible? Would they deny her an abortion for that reason? Also what kind of complications could this cause during her pregnancy and labor and delivery? I am very concered and want to get her the best care possible. Please dont turn this into a pro-life, pro-choice argument. I did not support this, abortion is not for me (proud mommy of 3) but everyone is entiltled to their own opinion and decisions when it comes to their body and a life.
