If you are a Vista user please read?

If you have a vista and have ever used their microsoft website for posting in community, do you have any idea why when I try to start a new thread it just refreshed the page? I am logged in to microsoft with no pop up blockers. I really need suggestions? My webpages are greying or greying out more and mor often. When it happens I cannot even close the page with ctrl+alt and del wont even bring up the task manager. I had to hold the power on down to shut down because it had been like 30 minutes.
