What should I take up in vocational school so that I will actually find a job?

I went to college, but employers keep saying that I do not qualify, for lack of experience. So, I never even get an interview. And this includes the simplest possible jobs you can have, like housekeeping and McDonald's. Therefore, vocational school is the only way to find a job. What should I take up at vocational school that will actually land me the job? Also, where can I get a grant to be able to pay for vocational school?
