My relative kid is 4 year old. She met with an accident, there was no superficial wounds on her body.?

But later in the night she started complaining of pain in stomach and started vomiting. After a day she was taken to hospital, doctors told them that there was an injury to intestine. They have cut the injured part and put stitches. Now after 11 days of care in intensive care unit. She is complaining of pain, and worst thing is stitches are open. Parents say they can see intestine. The 4 year old kid is struggling with pain. Please give the suggestion. Surgeons are telling that, the kid will be alright but takes time before healing. Parents of kid are panic and not taken any food since a week by looking at unstoppable crying kid. Your suggestion is valuable. Thanks
