It might be visual or that he has become a bit bored with the routine, I think that you should try something different and catch him off guard. Like slip him a y note in his wallet and when he's out somewhere it will take him by surprise or a hot text message while he's at work or school or whatever it is that he does. Just do something out of the ordinary to spice things up! Good luck!
