Is this statement about how the German invasion of Belgium also known as the of Belgium true?

The German invasion of Belgium was a major cause to the war as a result of the fact that the Germans invaded Belgium and they violated a treaty. Additionally the German military marched into Belgium shooting thousands of civilians and went in terrorizing local towns. Furthermore this provoked Britain due to the fact that they made a treaty with Belgium called the treaty of London in 1839 and it committed Britain to defend Belgium. Furthermore since Britain had to defend Belgium, France and Russia were dragged into the struggle too. The reason is because of the Triple Entente Alliance. Moreover this is one of the major reasons as to how the German invasion of Belgium led to the war.
