How to word a birthday invitation - food wise?

If you do not mention dress, it is umed you want casual dress, so, no do not put that on the invitation. Also, gawd no, do not say finger foods, that sounds gross to me, it is better to say "light hors deurves" (I didn't spell check sorry), or "chips and salsa"
